The Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's unique customer model, aiming to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs). This role drives the adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients by creating demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio. The TAS engages HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue, consistent with the product label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3. The role builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs, including those in private practice, medical groups, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum, serving as their primary point of contact. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience (Cx) by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on overall business results and performance objectives, exemplifying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, with an anticipated 100% of their time spent in the field with external customers.
