The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's unique customer model, aiming to provide the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs) and drive the adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients. The primary function of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their assigned portfolio. To meet HCP expectations, the TAS engages them with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue, consistent with the product label, and leveraging new ways of working. This role involves building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs, including those in private practice, medical groups, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum, serving as their primary point of contact. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall superior Customer Experience (Cx) by addressing HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on overall business results, performance objectives, and exemplifying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, with a significant portion of time spent interacting with external customers.
