About The Position

Responsible for the execution of test methodologies for various technology, following and adapting established procedures, or helping to define procedures as needed. Debugs and troubleshoots issues or failures, reports results, and may recommend root causes and solutions. Performs set-up, maintenance, and/or repairs of specialized test equipment, and may provide input on equipment selection. Works under some supervision. Provides some supervision/guidance to other members; does not have direct reports. Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc. Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework. Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines. Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required. Incumbent's input may be solicited during strategic planning period. Does not have financial accountability. Has no influence over key organizational decisions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of semiconductor, RF testing, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Executes and helps implement improvements to test plans. Provides feedback to customer on modifications, outcomes, or issues.
  • Helps select specialized test equipment and performs set-up, as well as loading and running complex programs or builds.
  • Performs complex calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools according to standards and procedures.
  • Identifies issues with test equipment and performs complex repairs.
  • Manages execution of test methodologies for various technology, adapting established procedures based on unique testing needs, and documents results.
  • Identifies, debugs and troubleshoots complex testing issues or failures, and recommends root causes and implements solutions.
  • Conducts and manages analyses and gathers information to identify where an issue has occurred and makes recommendations for how to address the issue.
  • Collaborates with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.
  • Communicates across teams to provide status and information about impending obstacles and suggests remediation.
  • Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects with minimal guidance.
  • Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.
