We are seeking an experienced Test and Evaluation Analyst who will develop and execute test strategies for short‑ and intermediate‑range air and missile defense systems for the SHIELD Project Office. Following DoW 5000 Series Acquisition guidance, you will support early‑lifecycle test planning to inform Phase Adaptive Approach decisions. You will have the opportunity to work with Product Managers and Integrated Product Teams to build T&E Master Plans, design and schedule test events, coordinate resources, and deliver clear, technically sound analysis to senior decision‑makers. The role requires coordination across CPE Defensive Fires offices and external test partners to ensure aligned test outcomes.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- 5 years of direct T&E experience on Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems (PATRIOT, IBCS, LTAMDS, MSHORAD, IFPC Inc 2, Avenger)
- Working technical knowledge of launcher, missile, radar, and Command and Control (C2) subsystems and how they integrate at the system and system-of-systems level
- Experience in an Army acquisition position and/or Army Project Management Office
- Working knowledge of DoW and Army acquisition processes and T&E procedures, including TEMP development, DT/OT execution, and milestone decision support
- Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Support joint data reviews and test planning working groups
- Prepare test documentation and manage approvals with DoW test agencies
- Align test activities with program cost and schedule
- Present technical briefings and test schedules to leadership
- Design test scenarios and analysis approaches for flight, ground, and range safety testing
- Lead test engineering working groups and test‑focused IPTs
