About The Position

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support our DoD customer. The role leads planning, execution, and assessment of tests across hardware, software, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments. Work includes support to intelligence and multi‑domain mission systems in classified settings.

Location: Onsite, Fort Meade, MD

Clearance Requirements: Active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years hardware/software system testing
• Experience supporting test & evaluation for DoD programs
• 5+ years test data collection/validation
• 3+ years virtualization and simulated environments
• 2+ years Python
• 2+ years Linux
• Knowledge of network architectures, protocols, topologies, and cloud deployment models
• Experience configuring/testing wired and wireless devices
• Strong technical writing skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and usability testing principles.
• Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate system tests against requirements
• Develop T&E strategies, Master Test Plans, and evaluation reports
• Review test plans for completeness and effectiveness
• Collect, validate, and analyze test data across multiple environments
• Design and execute automated testing and Python‑based test harnesses
• Support Agile testing and test automation
• Configure and operate virtualized, simulated, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Configure and test wired/wireless networking devices; apply network security architecture principles
• Utilize COTS/FOSS tools such as Suricata and Snort
• Prepare clear, technical findings and evaluation conclusions
• Support testing in classified environments
