About The Position

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of functional, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing for hardware and integrated systems. The role contributes to product verification by leading complex test activities, resolving technical issues, and ensuring system performance meets engineering, customer, and contractual requirements. The engineer works cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, RF, software, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support functional testing, system integration, qualification, verification, and production readiness. The role includes developing test procedures, verification plans, instrumentation strategies, and automated test configurations; leading test readiness and execution; evaluating test data and investigating failures; and validating corrective actions through repeat testing. The engineer also prepares configuration-controlled test records and reports, conducts readiness reviews and failure analyses, manages laboratory equipment and calibration, and recommends improvements to test methods, laboratory operations, and verification efficiency. Applicants must meet U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations eligibility requirements: be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, or refugee (protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
