Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer who analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. This role supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation, such as Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. The engineer will work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration and provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW. The role involves assisting with Level I tasks as constrained by technical training and previous testing experience, conducting research into and applying knowledge of Government test and evaluation concepts, and supporting T&E activities. The position requires planning and executing performance analysis, reviewing acquisition approaches for T&B schedule alignment, analyzing performance risk areas, specifying and adapting Modeling and Simulation for T&E use, and applying statistical analysis. The engineer will also plan and execute performance data collection, establish and employ Data & Configuration Management capabilities, and support Data Authentication group functions. Additionally, the role involves assessing operational and system performance requirements for testability and criticality, coordinating with program Systems Engineering (SE), assessing operational environments and priorities, and planning program and event level risk-tailored performance estimation and analysis. The engineer will design surveys for evaluation of Subject Matter Expert input and user estimates of performance, participate in T&E Working-level Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs) and/or Integrated Test Teams, and produce Evaluation Plans, Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, and Status reports. The role also includes providing input to Government T&E products, designing data sampling schemes, selecting and calibrating instrumentation, ensuring test readiness, and recommending draft plans and reports. The Senior Test Automation Engineer will provide overall leadership of the T&E task, serve as the primary liaison to the government, communicate issues and solutions, ensure appropriate independence of the team, manage T&E resources and tasks, ensure quality assurance, coordinate and integrate Evaluation and Testing tasks, and drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes.
