Senior Test Analyst HC Payer Domain onsite at Des Moines Iowa Hybrid
About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst with strong Healthcare/Payer domain experience and hands-on expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, UI/API automation, and database validation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, automating end-to-end business workflows for healthcare member portal applications, and leading automation strategy. The analyst will also execute various types of testing, perform backend data validation, review automation code, and participate in Agile ceremonies. Collaboration with Onshore/Offshore QA, Development, and Business teams is essential, along with providing test execution reports and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Strong Healthcare/Payer domain experience
- Knowledge of Members, Claims, Benefits, Eligibility, Enrollment, Providers & Authorizations
- Hands-on Playwright + TypeScript automation experience
- Strong UI & API test automation experience
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD / GitHub
- Strong SQL/database testing experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

- MongoDB is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright & TypeScript
- Automate end-to-end business workflows for healthcare member portal applications
- Develop and execute UI and API automation test scripts
- Lead automation strategy, framework enhancements, and test coverage improvements
- Execute regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Edge, and Firefox
- Integrate automation suites with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and coordinate defect resolution
- Perform backend data validation using SQL and API validation techniques
- Review automation code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior automation engineers
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and test strategy discussions
- Provide test execution reports, quality metrics, and status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with Onshore/Offshore QA, Development, and Business teams
