About The Position

The Senior Test Analyst performs hands-on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. The role designs test strategies and plans, estimates and tracks testing efforts, and develops, reviews, and executes detailed test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements and banking business workflows.

The analyst actively participates in and coordinates defect triage, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and testing teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve defects. Responsibilities also include defect retesting, regression validation, root cause investigation, supporting test data preparation and test environment validation, and troubleshooting testing dependencies. The role coordinates day-to-day testing activities across offshore team members to support progress and timely completion.

The position is associated with FIS, is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, and requires three days onsite. The stated tenure runs until December 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Design test strategies and test plans; estimate and track testing efforts.
• Develop, review, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements and banking business workflows.
• Participate in and coordinate defect triage with developers, business analysts, and testing teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve defects.
• Perform defect retesting, regression validation, and root cause investigation to ensure quality fixes.
• Support test data preparation and test environment validation, and troubleshoot testing dependencies.
• Coordinate day-to-day testing activities across offshore team members to support progress and timely completion.
