About The Position

As a Senior Teller, you'll serve as both a teller and platform representative, providing members with comprehensive financial support and guidance. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, educating members on financial products, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 12 months of retail and/or customer service experience, or 6 months of experience in a financial institution or similar industry.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Cash handling experience.
Sales or cross-selling experience.
Experience in a retail banking or credit union environment.
Familiarity with Symitar.

Responsibilities

Welcome and engage every member with a warm, professional attitude.
Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including: Deposits, Withdrawals, Transfers, Loan payments, Wire transfers, Official checks, Cash advances, Gift cards.
Open new accounts, shares, and credit card accounts.
Conduct needs-based conversations to identify products and services that best fit members' financial goals.
Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service channels.
Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities to help.
Support branch and individual sales goals through referrals and cross-selling that genuinely benefit members.
Balance cash drawers and support end-of-day branch balancing activities.
Prepare account-opening and credit card documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Protect member information and company assets by following all security procedures.
Maintain knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA compliance.
Assist team members with research and resolving balancing discrepancies.
Participate in branch meetings, community events, and sales initiatives.
