About The Position

This is a part-time position working a minimum of 20 hours per week. The Senior Teller will be the first friendly face people see when they walk into the branch. Part of this role is proactively and professionally acknowledging anyone who enters the branch. The role requires balancing checks and cash drawers, accurately processing routine member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, and cash advances. The Senior Teller will also research and resolve member inquiries and conduct research on member accounts. This role requires team members to cross-sell services that would benefit members and properly track products and services referred or sold. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude when facing challenges.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months in the retail and/or service industry or 6 months in a financial institution, working in a branch environment.
Basic computer skills.
Strong listening, verbal communication, time management and organizational skills required.
Able to maintain the confidentiality of member information.
