About The Position

Susquehanna is seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager to join our Technology Portfolio Management team in our Bala Cynwyd headquarters. This role is focused on managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that drive business outcomes across our global organization. You will partner directly with the CIO's leadership team, business stakeholders, and technology leaders and teams to deliver strategic projects and help mature our project management function firmwide. In this role, you will be expected to build credibility quickly with engineering, trading, legal, and operations partners, and to drive outcomes through influence, trust, and relationships rather than hierarchical authority.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior project or program management experience, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
  • High technology and business acumen and the ability to quickly develop context on unfamiliar domains
  • Strong, context-aware communication skills - concise, direct, and tactful, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven success operating in federated or matrix organizational structures, driving outcomes through influence rather than hierarchy
  • Data-driven and analytical; comfortable leveraging available data and tools to drive progress and surface insights
  • Experience mentoring, developing, or growing project managers, or building project management capabilities
  • Ability to work in office in Bala Cynwyd

  • Background in financial services, trading, banking, consulting, or a large technology company
  • Experience establishing or maturing project management in an organization
  • Experience leading projects where you had no inherent technical advantage and had to establish credibility with engineering stakeholders
  • Experience managing projects with meaningful regulatory, legal, or compliance touchpoints

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-visibility, cross-functional technology projects from concept through implementation across global teams
  • Serve as a connector and translator between technology teams and business stakeholders across trading, legal, operations, and corporate functions
  • Analyze data and project telemetry to inform priorities, track delivery, and surface risks to senior leadership
  • Produce clear, concise, context-aware communications and status reporting for the CIO and other senior stakeholders
  • Operate in a federated, matrix environment - driving outcomes through influence, trust, and relationships
  • Help define and mature the Technology Portfolio Management function, including standards, templates, and processes appropriate to Susquehanna's culture
