Position Summary: This role is responsible for driving technology strategy and execution across the Consumer Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain, along with oversight of Safe Deposit Box and Escheatment technology functions. The leader will play a key role in shaping and advancing enterprise technology initiatives, while also serving as a strategic partner in leading Estate Management efforts across GOTSSCDP. This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology leadership experience, including organizational design, workforce planning, and managing large-scale technology teams
  • Proven experience leading technology strategy and execution for complex, enterprise-scale domains, preferably within Financial Services or regulated environments
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end delivery portfolios, including forecasting, budgeting, and oversight of multi-million-dollar initiatives (>$10MM)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment, bringing together business, technology, and infrastructure stakeholders to achieve long-term strategic objectives
  • Expertise in application development and engineering oversight, ensuring solutions meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Experience partnering with infrastructure teams to manage environment strategy, stability, and scalability across enterprise platforms
  • Strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or risk/compliance-driven platforms, with experience supporting highly regulated domains preferred
  • Experience leading complex transformation initiatives across domains such as Consumer AML, Safe Deposit Box, or Escheatment (or similar regulated business areas)
  • Ability to lead and influence large, matrixed organizations, driving execution excellence while aligning with broader enterprise technology strategy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage in senior leadership and drive decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
  • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
  • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
  • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
