About The Position
As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for performing specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; troubleshooting; plans, installs and/or modified plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals. Performs corrective and preventive work orders throughout the plant. Assigned responsibility is for various equipment plant-wide including, gear boxes, air locks, pumps, blowers, conveyors. Ability to assist with repairs and troubleshoot piping systems, piping components. Emergency and call-in support is required along with adherence to maintenance work process.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to diagnose problems, repair blowers, pumps, air locks, gear boxes, conveyors, prefabrication and installation of piping, valves and pipe threading.
- Ability to provide emergencies and call in support as required.
Nice To Haves
- A technical school education in a mechanical discipline is preferred.
- Use of laser alignment tools is preferred.
- pipe welding is a plus
Responsibilities
- Fill out and review work permit in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.
- Ensure all lockout – tagout procedures are followed.
- Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes.
- Recommend practical solutions of technical causes.
- Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, airlocks, gearboxes, conveyors, valve installation, pipe welding is a plus, threading and installation.
- Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss.
- Additional responsibilities as defined and provided by leadership.
