About The Position

Ardena is a global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in precision medicine development. Ardena supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in bringing innovative, complex molecules from discovery to market. The Ardena Group operates from five sites across Europe and the United States, employing more than 750 professionals. Ardena European sites are located in Oss and Assen (the Netherlands), Ghent (Belgium), and Pamplona (Spain). Ardena US facility is based in Somerset, New Jersey. For the Ardena Business Unit based in Somerset (US), we are looking for a Senior Technician (Bioanalytics). Ardena provides integrated services spanning drug substance development, drug product formulation, GMP manufacturing, bioanalytical services, clinical logistics, fill and finish, and CMC regulatory support.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates a good understanding of validation principles and bioanalytical workflows.
  • Developing moderate capability to explain complex concepts and share knowledge effectively.
  • Quickly adjusts to changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving project requirements.
  • Shows strong ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring compliance and reliability.
  • Provides guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Capable of organizing activities to meet project goals.
  • Maintains high standards in all deliverables, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
  • Able to identify and resolve issues within bioanalytical and validation processes.
  • Developing problem-solving skills specific to method development challenges under supervision.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines under pressure.
  • Medium or high professional level of laboratory related education (MBO/HBO)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (GLP/GxP preferred)
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written); Dutch is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job/role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the execution of a bioanalysis or validation study
  • Involved in training new employees
  • Can be a System Manager of laboratory equipment
  • Performs transfers/method development under supervision of an (Associate) Scientist
  • Can be involved in the implementation of new equipment
