About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist with expertise in DBT to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions. You will be responsible for building and managing dbt models, including incremental models, snapshots, tests, and macros. Additionally, you will develop efficient SQL queries, implement data models (dimensional/star/snowflake schemas), and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions. Building and maintaining semantic layers for business consumption and ensuring high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool) -- hands-on experience is mandatory
Advanced SQL proficiency
Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling concepts
Experience in building and managing semantic layers

Nice To Haves

Experience with BI tools such as: Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight
Exposure to cloud data platforms like: Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks
Experience in DAG creation using Apache Airflow
Exposure to AI/ML models or agents for development, testing, or deployment automation
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as: Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation
