About The Position

The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant – Developer provides solutions for the existing HCM client base. This role is responsible for scoping, documenting, developing, testing, and delivering billable projects. The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant must ensure the timely completion of complex and multifaceted projects by collecting customer requirements and designing, configuring, and testing custom SAS programs to meet client needs. Responsibilities also include coordinating related project activities, communicating with internal and external customers, and documenting projects throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Developer, or similar role.
  • Background in SAS programming language analysis or development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, and XSLT.
  • Specific knowledge and experience working with SQL Server databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong follow-through on tasks, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities under pressure.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Dayforce HCM Implementation Tools.

Responsibilities

  • Scope, document, configure, test, communicate with clients, and deliver successful completion of custom SAS programs.
  • Gather user requirements and prepare detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) documents that outline project scope.
  • Review solution designs with customers and obtain design approval.
  • Interpret project requirements and determine the best solutions using the appropriate tools with limited assistance.
  • Perform SQL coding and/or XML/XSLT coding as required.
  • Demonstrate agility by efficiently resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver technical solutions on time and within budget to meet customer expectations.
  • Work with customers and vendors to ensure thorough system testing, resolve issues, and deliver quality configurations and solutions.
  • Manage project workflow and coordinate project resources, including internal teams, customers, and vendors, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Act as a technical resource to other members of the Professional Services team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates within project tracking, time tracking, and client billing systems such as NetSuite.
