About The Position

Akamai is working to simplify the way people work in the cloud. The TSA team's mission is to accelerate innovation by making compute simple, scalable, accessible, and affordable for all. We provide the infrastructure and services that enable developers to build next generation applications. As a TSA (specialist presales solutions engineer), you'll define Akamai Cloud/Linode solutions during the sales lifecycle. You'll guide customers through strategic and technical Cloud transformation decisions while driving Linode service adoption. You'll serve as a thought-leader in cloud computing within and outside of Akamai.

Requirements

Possess extensive professional customer-facing experience in technical roles with cloud-related organizations.
Demonstrate successful experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers.
Hold professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
Demonstrate hands-on expertise in in 3 more domains across Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming or mediastreaming tech stacks.
Demonstrate experience and hands-on skills in open-source software like Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.
Communicate complex technical content effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

Driving Linode opportunities forward by owning the technical sales cycle.
Owning customer success and support account growth.
Collaborating closely with sales, product teams, services, and partners.
Leading innovation in solutions and products, identify and promote trends, and influence the global product roadmap.
Building technical expertise and thought-leadership in Akamai Cloud/Linode to support Akamai's overall business growth.
