We want you to be a part of the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) System Team, which is one of the most sophisticated missile defense systems in the world. Are you ready to take on the challenge? You will function as the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Engineering Authority within the CLS Team supporting the LRHW. You will also conduct maintenance, supply, hardware and software installation/upgrade and provide support to the LHRW unit. Additionally, you will provide New Equipment Training (NET) as well as any required Delta training to the unit. You will also perform the following as part of daily duties: Perform all maintenance actions on all equipment Manage maintenance through the GoldESP program and work order system at the work location Support the US Army in managing LRHW maintenance and sustainment program. Install weapon system hardware, software and firmware upgrades and modifications. The permanent work location for this position is Fort Lewis, Washington with an initial temporary training assignment (8 months) in Huntsville, Alabama. You will serve as a liaison and critical source of support to the home station CLS Team and report to the LRHW Logistics IPT in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is a deployable position for long/short term assignments Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), therefore you must be fully capable and qualified for OCONUS deployment. Requirements

  • Experienced with in-depth troubleshooting and analysis
  • Experienced using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experienced with maintenance concepts and practices
  • Must be able to travel and deploy with Army Unit for periods of 6 months or more as required both inside the U.S. and Outside of the Continental U.S.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to brief Senior Leaders Level
  • Experienced with Army Maintenance and philosophies
  • Current Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to develop comprehensive Briefings
  • Experienced supporting field maintenance for DoD programs
  • Experienced understanding engineering technical verbiage and documentation
