About The Position

As a Senior Recruiter at Impulse Space, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to drive the full life-cycle recruiting process, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Operating across diverse roles within the Engineering and Operations teams, you will be a key player in our hiring strategy. We are seeking an individual who is not only highly engaged and takes pride in their work but also thrives in our startup environment. Independence and ownership are key facets of success in this role.

Requirements

6+ years’ experience in full life cycle technical recruiting
Experience recruiting for hardware engineering roles (Mechanical, Test, Production, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to identify, source, and hire exceptional engineering talent
Ability to build strong relationships with both managers and candidates
Knowledge of various recruiting tools such as applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, Boolean searches etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment classifications
Ability to prioritize and set expectations in a fast moving environment
U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
8+ years' experience recruiting in aerospace, or hardware engineering related field
Knowledge of technical markets across the U.S.
Experience in a startup or agile development environment
Knowledge of engineering skillsets in software, hardware, manufacturing, operations
Experience with high volume recruiting

Responsibilities

Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role
Collaborate closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure we meet their hiring needs and goals
Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
Foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture, which ensures delivery of an efficient, effective, quality driven services to internal hiring teams
Focus on process development & metrics/analytics - helping Impulse continually raise the recruiting bar
