About The Position

Warp is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to build the engineering, product, and design team for its next phase of growth. The company is expanding from 30+ to 70+ employees this year, with technical hiring being a critical component. This role is ideal for someone who excels at sourcing, understands how to attract top engineering talent, and can manage the entire hiring process from outreach to closing candidates. The recruiter will own the technical hiring strategy, collaborating with the recruiting lead on operations and directly with the CTO and engineering leads on maintaining a high hiring bar.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in technical recruiting, with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of what constitutes a great engineer, with the ability to articulate and defend these criteria.
  • Proven track record of managing searches end-to-end across various engineering roles, identifying concerns early, and keeping searches on track.
  • Ability to generate responses from passive candidates through cold outreach.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools throughout the recruiting workflow.
  • High level of ownership and commitment to high standards, prioritizing quality hires over speed.
  • Commitment to being on-site in the NYC office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own sourcing strategy for engineering, product, and design, from target-list construction to first outreach to close.
  • Hunt for top-tier talent for challenging roles, including payments and infra engineers, identity and access specialists, developer platform engineers, and design engineers.
  • Run full-cycle recruiting for complex technical roles, managing interview coordination, technical assessments, and system design, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Serve as the market intelligence resource for hiring managers, providing data on compensation benchmarking, competitive landscape, and talent pool sizing.
  • Maintain a fast-paced, high-bar recruiting process that reflects the company's speed and attracts strong candidates.
