About The Position

You'll work side by side with leadership and our founders to grow our technical team across the company. You'll drive the entire recruiting lifecycle, own the candidate experience, and build our hiring strategy from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with meaningful time spent in-house at a startup or fast-moving technology company
  • A track record of landing senior and staff-level engineers in markets where everyone is competing for the same people
  • Someone who has owned the strategy, not just the execution, and has built the pipelines and processes to prove it
  • The kind of recruiting partner that engineering leaders bring into the room early, before the job description is written
  • Comfortable using data to tell the story of your pipeline and drive smarter decisions at every stage
  • A communicator who earns trust quickly, sets clear expectations, and knows how to get a great candidate across the finish line
  • Experienced running searches independently and building structure where little existed before
  • Calm in ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to figure things out as you go
  • Genuinely curious about how AI and emerging tools can give you an edge in a competitive talent market
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco; in-office presence expected

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for technical roles, from first contact through signed offer
  • Embed deeply with engineering leadership to understand not just open roles, but team dynamics, growth plans, and the kind of talent that will genuinely move the needle
  • Build and sustain robust pipelines across backend, full-stack, infrastructure, and neighboring technical disciplines
  • Find and engage exceptional engineers through inventive, multi-channel approaches that go beyond the obvious
  • Design a candidate experience that earns Casap a reputation in the market, one where candidates speak highly of us regardless of outcome
  • Build the recruiting infrastructure, processes, and tooling that will scale with Casap well into the future
  • Track and analyze hiring data to sharpen sourcing strategies, improve pipeline conversion, and reduce time-to-fill
  • Grow Casap's footprint in the SF and NYC engineering communities through events, relationships, and brand presence
  • Work closely with HR and leadership on offer strategy, compensation benchmarking, and headcount planning
