Astera Labs is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team in San Jose, California. As the company scales rapidly to meet the explosive demand for AI infrastructure connectivity solutions, this role will be instrumental in identifying and attracting top-tier talent across the organization. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, the recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies, playing a critical role in building teams that are shaping the future of data center connectivity, working on requisitions spanning engineering, operations, and corporate functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the technology or semiconductor industry
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred)
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other channels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for engineering and technical roles in hardware, firmware, or semiconductor companies
  • Background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, data center, or connectivity technologies
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process from intake to offer acceptance across multiple requisitions
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using creative sourcing strategies and multiple channels
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Astera Labs' culture and values
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities
  • Provide market insights, compensation benchmarking guidance, and talent landscape intelligence
  • Drive weekly hiring syncs and maintain clear communication on pipeline progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse ATS
  • Ensure compliance with all hiring policies and procedures
  • Contribute to process improvements and recruiting best practices
