About The Position

Lead end-to-end technology and application development projects within a financial services environment, partnering with engineering, data, business, and senior stakeholders to build project plans, manage execution, and deliver complex technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of technical project management, program management, product management, or senior business analysis experience.
  • Experience working for a financial services/fintech organization or technology company.
  • Proven experience managing application development projects.
  • Strong Jira experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build project plans from scratch.
  • Strong PMO/project governance experience.
  • Experience overseeing approximately 60–70% of project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and software development processes.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and data teams on technical requirements, APIs, integrations, and solution design.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Private credit, structured credit, or insurance experience.
  • Private equity or investment management experience.
  • Experience with portfolio monitoring, risk management, or investment-related technology.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Sigma or similar analytics/reporting platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, or .NET.
  • Experience with cloud-native platforms, microservices, data pipelines, or event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with CRM, portfolio monitoring, data warehouse, or low-code platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build detailed project plans from scratch and manage end-to-end project execution.
  • Provide 60–70% oversight of project planning, tracking, execution, and delivery.
  • Lead technology, data, and application development projects.
  • Translate business objectives into requirements, roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate engineering, data, operations, finance, and third-party teams.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and timelines.
  • Use Jira for project tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and status reporting.
  • Partner with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data architecture, and solution design.
  • Support Agile delivery, SDLC governance, testing, release planning, and production readiness.
  • Create project documentation including business requirements, process flows, runbooks, and SOPs.
  • Track project success metrics, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify process gaps and automation opportunities and drive solutions through implementation.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
