About The Position

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on Microsoft Azure Core, you will collaborate to deliver the next generation of cloud capacity management technology and manage Azure region health. You will own and operate a large area of the business autonomously, partnering with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas, identify risks, and propose data-based mitigations. You will define success criteria, build relationships to implement features for complex cross-functional projects, coordinate alignment across organizations, and deliver roadmaps for multiple feature groups. The role includes tracking schedules, developing staging and implementation plans, managing governance programs, validating use cases, writing test cases, coordinating performance metrics and customer support, and leading direct customer engagements. The work supports Microsoft Azure's core cloud platform and is relied upon by customers globally. It provides opportunities to work with high-scale distributed systems. Microsoft describes its mission as empowering every person and organization to achieve more and emphasizes a growth mindset, innovation, collaboration, respect, integrity, accountability, and an inclusive work environment.
