About The Position

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for AI research and language projects. This is a contract opportunity lasting at least six months, with long-term potential, and is remote within the United States. The role manages multiple project reviews, tracking progress, milestones, action items, risks, and approvals while coordinating with requesters, reviewers, privacy stakeholders, and other project stakeholders. It also involves researching, cataloging, and annotating AI research assets and using spreadsheet tools and data analysis to support decisions and improve workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of project coordination experience, preferably in AI/LLM research, privacy, data analytics, or risk management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple projects.
Proven leadership skills and ability to influence others to accomplish goals.
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for data annotation, exploration, and analysis.
Experience with data analysis and running ad hoc queries.
Familiarity with AI research tools and the AI research landscape.

Nice To Haves

MBA or other related advanced degree.
PMI or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

Own multiple project reviews, monitor daily progress, and proactively resolve blockers.
Collaborate with requesters and reviewers to clarify requirements and gather information needed to advance project reviews.
Manage and track action items and next steps, ensuring milestones are met and projects remain on schedule.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, provide updates and highlights, and address concerns.
Deliver weekly reports on project status, achievements, challenges, and review and approval stages.
Coordinate with privacy stakeholders to align and document approval best practices.
Manage project risks, including timely mitigation and escalation.
Research, catalog, and annotate AI research assets.
Use Google Sheets or Excel for data exploration and analysis to inform project decisions and optimize workflows.
Stay current with developments in the AI research landscape and tools.
