Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$168,000 - $322,000

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an accomplished Technical Program Manager to join its DGX Cloud team. The role partners with external NCP partners and internal Software Engineering, Production Engineering/SRE, and Data Center Operations teams and their leadership. It drives programs involving on-premises infrastructure engineering, bare-metal bring-up, and automation, while developing foundational capabilities and processes for hardware validation, remote fleet bootstrapping, operational workflows, and cluster and capacity bring-up. The position coordinates end-to-end remote bootstrapping, active bring-up, and validation of large server fleets, taking clusters from physical rack-and-stack to customer-ready deployment. It drives adoption of automation for fleet maintenance, node security, and burn-in, and formalizes workflows for resolving initial deployment issues. The TPM partners with NVIDIA software teams to integrate and deploy DSX and other core software stacks in on-premises environments, and leads capacity operations focused on availability, maintenance, and multi-tiered infrastructure workflows. The role may expand to include end-to-end capacity onboarding and operations with NCP partners for internal DGX Cloud capacity. The TPM maps NVIDIA engineering roadmaps against data center readiness timelines, gathers requirements, develops roadmaps, and manages risks under the Product Lifecycle framework for bare-metal capacity deployment. Using Jira and other program management tools, the TPM structures execution across engineering and data center work. The position also establishes metrics for program velocity, infrastructure availability, and cluster health, and develops communication strategies, including collaborative weekly operations reviews.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience driving planning and execution of cloud infrastructure programs, with a strong focus on hardware/software integration across multiple engineering teams.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in cloud or on-premises enterprise infrastructure, data center bring-up, bare-metal deployments, and hardware infrastructure.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, or similar program management tools, including designing ticket queues and guiding engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking, with the ability to build consensus, establish operational workflows, and drive program success amid uncertainty.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and technical presentation skills, including the ability to increase meeting engagement, gather feedback, and align senior cross-functional collaborators.
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of NVIDIA GPU products, cluster deployment, validation testing, and high-performance computing infrastructure bring-up.
  • Direct experience managing dependencies between pioneering AI software stacks and foundational physical infrastructure.
  • Experience with accelerated deployment schedules, such as rapid 30-day data center rollouts, and asset-backed operational models.
  • Background establishing automated server benchmarking, burn-in execution, and infrastructure health validation workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, managed-Kubernetes platform layers, and distributed systems.
  • Significant experience with productivity tools, process automation, and establishing standard operating guidelines across technical domains.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end remote bootstrapping, active bring-up, and validation of large server fleets from physical rack-and-stack to customer-ready clusters.
  • Drive adoption of automation for fleet maintenance, node security, and burn-in, and establish workflows to triage and resolve day-one deployment issues.
  • Partner with NVIDIA software teams to integrate and deploy DSX and other core software stacks in on-premises environments.
  • Lead day-to-day capacity operations focused on availability, maintenance, and multi-tiered infrastructure workflows; potentially drive end-to-end capacity onboarding and operations with NCP partners.
  • Map incoming technology roadmaps across NVIDIA engineering teams against physical data center readiness timelines.
  • Gather requirements, build roadmaps, and manage risks under the Product Lifecycle framework for bare-metal capacity deployment.
  • Use Jira and program management tools to structure execution across engineering and data center work.
  • Establish metrics to track program velocity, infrastructure availability, and cluster health.
  • Develop communication strategies and facilitate collaborative weekly operations reviews.
