About The Position

NVIDIA is a leader in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization. The VLSI Engineering organization is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to serve as a pivotal horizontal lead, orchestrating the end-to-end execution of ambitious silicon development projects. This role provides structure and insight to deliver world-class silicon by aligning roadmaps, enabling technical leads, and accelerating end-to-end execution through domain-specific workflows and intelligent infrastructure for automated schedule tracking, resource planning, and program health visibility across the full lifecycle.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or Applied Sciences or equivalent experience (Masters preferred).
  • 8+ years of overall experience in semiconductor design or datacenter/consumer electronics (6+ years if Masters), with a minimum of 3+ years of direct Technical Program Management experience.
  • Strong experience across all stages of the ASIC/SoC development from architecture to productization.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking with the ability to synthesize complex technical data into actionable project plans.
  • Proficient in leading rapid development cycles and embracing change, maintaining flexibility and composure in uncertain situations.
  • Ability to align different teams on a unified execution path and influence technical trade-offs.
  • Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills; ability to influence senior engineering staff without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct background in pre-silicon development or hardware validation.
  • Expertise in Smartsheet for building project trackers and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Python to automate data-driven project management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for top-level silicon schedules and managing complex dependencies across multidisciplinary teams to meet SOL (Speed of Light) schedules.
  • Align cross-functional program schedules into a single, integrated source of truth and maintain roadmap synchronization.
  • Act as the primary liaison between VLSI and partners in ASIC, Architecture, Software, Systems, and Operations to handle input/output dependencies at the highest level.
  • Maintain Plan of Record (POR) ensuring all scope and schedule changes are documented and communicated.
  • Proactively identify risks and critical path, develop mitigation strategies, and advance issues to leadership.
  • Provide regular updates on program status, highlighting challenges and proposing options to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Quantify Program Health through real-time KPIs and metrics.
  • Continuously improve processes by taking learnings from prior programs and optimizing workflows to maintain highest quality deliverables.
