The Connected Warfare team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead product development and critical test campaigns for advanced warfighter systems, including Eagle Eye (Army’s Next Generation Command & Control system), Menace of Family of Systems, and related products. This role involves managing cross-functional test initiatives for both software and hardware in dynamic lab and field environments, ensuring systems perform flawlessly in modern battlespaces. The Senior Technical Program Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, program management, test and evaluation, and military partners to validate system performance.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in system-level test and evaluation of integrated hardware/software systems.
  • Proven leadership in test teams (≥ 5 engineers/technicians) and management of complex multi-site test campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience executing both developmental and operational test events in lab and field settings.
  • Strong expertise in requirements development, test planning, verification/validation, and test reporting with traceability management.
  • Experience with RF communications, tactical datalinks, and networked C2 systems in a DoD operational environment.
  • Familiarity with industry and DoD test processes including MIL-STD protocols.
  • Proficient in test metrics definition and reporting.
  • Understands customer/military use cases from first hand experience and can guide engineer team members to design and test around those related uses cases.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for test execution.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience on DoD ACAT I/II programs or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC, environmental testing (MIL-STD-810), and power/avionics standards (MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-1553/1760, etc.).
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks, data analysis tools, and test instrumentation.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, software integration, and hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
  • Prior experience in remote, austere, or tactical operational settings.
  • Eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage test planning, execution, and reporting for Eagle Eye, Next Generation Command Control, and other Connected Warfare products. Provide technical leadership to a team of test engineers through system integration, developmental, operational, and customer acceptance tests.
  • Define robust verification protocols using requirements-based, scenario-based, and operationally relevant methodologies, incorporating customer standards and metrics.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, SEIT, test ranges, and external agencies. Oversee Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), manage test incidents, and track deficiencies.
  • Supervise data analysis of system performance and mission outcomes in both lab and field settings. Establish and monitor measurable test coverage metrics ensuring traceability from requirements to validation.
  • Represent the program at customer reviews, readiness boards, and milestone decision points, ensuring disciplined execution in both controlled and austere environments.
