About The Position

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). In this role, you will lead a team of application developers, focusing on providing development for legacy and existing systems. This includes building new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and adding features for successor system integration with older legacy systems to ensure co-existence. The position is based in Washington, D.C. at DIA HQ (Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling) and offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3-4 days onsite.

Requirements

Currently reside in the United States.
Senior technical role experience for at least 2 years.
At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining technical strategies for application development and integration between applications and use of AI to enhance development.
Minimum 12 years of experience in development work + Masters degree, or 14 years of experience in development work + Bachelors degree.
TS/SCI, CI Poly required for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Security+ is preferred.
Experience working with Agile SAFe environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical strategies for effective application development and integration, including AI capabilities.
Maintain daily communication with Government leads on requirements, mission priorities, performance measures, program goals, milestones, and support needs.
Oversee all contract application development work.
Present overview briefings and updates to Government leads, partners, and customers.
Report on business area progress at performance improvement meetings.
Identify opportunities for increased effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact.
Notify Government and Contract CPM/CDPM of any issues or trends that pose a risk to mission priorities.
Assist the Contract CPM/CDPM in distilling requirements, communicating them to contract staff, and tracking progress against them.
Provide a technical need summary to the government program manager and government technical need, consolidating development efforts with a focus on areas needing client intervention.
