About The Position

The Senior Technical Expert - Green Sand serves as Simpson Technologies’ primary technical authority for green sand systems, laboratory testing, process optimization, sand preparation, and process control across North America. The role acts as the Center of Excellence for Green Sand Technology, providing technical leadership, customer support, laboratory ownership, product development support, and industry engagement.

The position works across Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Service, and Quality. It owns green sand laboratory operations and testing standards, supports customer evaluations and process troubleshooting, contributes to product development and commercialization, delivers technical training, and represents Simpson at industry events and technical organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10–15 years of foundry engineering or Green Sand experience.
• Experience managing laboratory testing programs.
• Knowledge of AFS testing standards and process control.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the North American subject matter expert for Green Sand Technology.
