Senior Technical Consultant
About The Position
We're looking for an experienced Senior Tech Consultant to join our growing Data Solutions team. In this role, you'll partner with Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms to design and implement data-driven solutions that improve business performance. You'll work with Deltek ERP platforms, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and other technologies to deliver impactful consulting services while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work on diverse client engagements, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to innovative technology solutions across the AEC industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, or another project-based ERP platform.
- 4+ years of technical consulting or data consulting experience.
- Strong experience with SQL Server
- Strong experience with T-SQL development
- Strong experience with SSRS Reporting
- Strong experience with ETL processes
- Strong experience with Data migrations and integrations
- Experience working with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft Fabric.
- Programming experience with C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience designing or implementing AI-enabled business solutions.
- Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry and project accounting.
- Worked successfully in a fully remote environment
- Worked with Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to AEC clients throughout consulting engagements.
- Design and implement data migration and system integration solutions for Deltek Vision and Vantagepoint environments.
- Develop SSRS reports and dashboards to provide meaningful business insights.
- Build SQL automation using T-SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Create and support ETL processes for data conversions and system implementations.
- Assist in designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Build workflow automation using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Manage multiple client projects while maintaining project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal consulting, sales, and account management teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and provide additional value to existing clients.
- Participate in client education programs, user groups, and technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
