About The Position

The Senior Technical Account Manager is an invaluable bridge between important enterprise insurance carrier clients and our internal team. With a focus is on business development and sales strategy, this role also provides support as a project manager, ensuring technical and tactical execution for a smooth, streamlined systems integration process. Reporting to the Carrier Account Team Manager, you will join a motivated, fun-loving team serving our carrier client base. This is a US-based remote role, with occasional travel to important clients. The total cash compensation range is $104,000-$156,000 (including bonus). Additionally, the total compensation package will include equity and benefits. Within the range, additional factors, including job-related experience, determine individual pay. Your recruiter can share more during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working in account management, sales, or comparable role
  • Experience in implementation, materials creation, and training suites
  • Experience managing a high-volume workload
  • Experience strategizing and implementing large-scale goals and projects

Nice To Haves

  • Startup experience, for SaaS solutions or technical products
  • Experience with the ACA/health insurance industry
  • Experience collaborating with assigned partners in VP and directorship levels

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary technical and strategic contact for clients, representing HealthSherpa.
  • Dive into complex operational, data, and integration issues, working directly with the client to guide resolution through to completion.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients teams to lead escalations, issue management, and grievance resolution.
  • Project manage technical implementations, and remain involved post-launch to ensure systems perform as expected.
  • Partner with Sales and leadership to shape go-to-market and expansion strategies.
  • Guide accountability for all contractual commitments by managing and working towards Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Be the carrier's voice in internal discussions by summarizing feedback, surfacing recurring issues, and communicating product gaps and enhancement opportunities to Product and Engineering.
