About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tech Lead with a strong background in Appian and Java/J2EE to lead the design and development of enterprise BPM workflows, case management, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of microservices architecture, API integrations, and cloud technologies, with a proven ability to mentor teams and drive technical excellence in an Agile environment.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and BPM platforms.
Strong expertise in Appian (process modeling, SAIL, integrations, and Appian objects).
Proven experience designing enterprise BPM workflows, case management, and automation solutions.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST API integrations.
Experience integrating with databases and enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake).
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
Hands-on experience with AI developer tools (AWS Kiro, Amazon Q, Microsoft Copilot).
Strong understanding of workflow optimization, automation, and business rule implementation.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong UI/UX design and workflow architecture experience, including usability and responsive design.
Experience with testing frameworks and automation strategies.
Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and scalable system architecture.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience delivering BPM solutions in financial services or other regulated industries.
Appian certification (Level 2 or Lead Developer).
Experience with cloud-native BPM deployments and AWS architecture.
Exposure to AI/ML-driven workflow automation and intelligent process automation.
Experience defining enterprise UI standards and design systems.
