We're looking for detailed and experienced Technicians to join our electronics assembly team, supporting the building of advanced hardware in a cleanroom/lab environment. Our Technicians work with engineers, building the kind of hardware that makes a difference. From hand soldering components to wire bonding in semiconductor assemblies, you'll bring big ideas to life.

Requirements

Knowledge of clean room practices and protocols.
Knowledge of small scale production environment.
Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.
At least five years of applicable experience is required.
Successful completion of at least four college credit technical courses.
Including one course in both math and physics, and two engineering elective in the area of engineering they currently work in i.e. Chemical, Electrical, or Elec/Mech.

Responsibilities

Performs skilled assembly work; build, assemble, modify and/or repair prototypes.
Provides support to engineers on technical projects and/or product; collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data per guidelines.
Prepares engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.).
Performs mathematical calculations per engineering specifications.
Recommend alternative solutions to problems and obstacles.
May set up and conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering analysis.
With adequate training, may operate, clean, maintain, and/or calibrate assembly equipment requiring highly skilled and specialized knowledge.
Documents work consistent with work unit policy in handwritten form or using common computer-based software.
May mentor or train more junior technicians.
May perform other duties as assigned specific to a particular engineering area.
Assemble electronics for semiconductor systems, CCA and wire cabling/harnessing.
Perform hand soldering, wire bonding, and other work in cleanroom/lab environment.
Operate tools and equipment including basic maintenance and calibration.
