Senior Teamcenter Solution Architect

Forge Digital Inc.•Clarkston, MI
•$180,000 - $225,000

About The Position

Forge Digital Inc. is seeking a senior-most individual contributor and client-facing leader to define the technical vision for complex PLM transformations. The role owns the architecture of flagship engagements, leads pre-sales technical discovery, authors proposals, and represents Forge as a subject matter authority with C-suite and VP-level client stakeholders. This is not an implementation coordinator role. The architect defines end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale Siemens Teamcenter programs across multiple engagements, assesses current environments and future-state needs, and serves as the highest technical escalation point on active engagements. The position also advises clients on Teamcenter roadmaps and integrations, leads Digital Engineering strategy work, mentors architects and senior consultants, supports practice development, and represents Forge at executive briefings, industry events, and Siemens partner engagements. The position requires demonstrated hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience and U.S. Person status as defined by 22 CFR 120.62, as well as residence in the United States. The company cannot sponsor work visas. An active security clearance is a significant plus.

Requirements

  • 10–20+ years of Teamcenter experience, including at least 5 years in an architecture or solution-design leadership role.
  • Demonstrated record of owning technical architecture for large-scale, multi-site, multi-discipline, multi-year Teamcenter programs.
  • Deep expertise across Teamcenter, including BMIDE, AWC, Workflow, Classification, Multi-Site, FSC, Reporting & Analytics, and Dispatcher.
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter integration patterns with NX, Simcenter, SAP, Oracle, and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Experience leading PLM health checks, maturity assessments, or vendor-neutral advisory engagements.
  • Ability to communicate technical architecture clearly and confidently to non-technical executive audiences without jargon.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to produce board-ready architecture documents and executive briefings.
  • Hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience in implementation, configuration, administration, BMIDE, migration, or integration; general software development, ERP, or other PLM platform experience alone does not qualify.
  • U.S. Person status as defined by 22 CFR 120.62 and residence in the United States; the position involves ITAR-controlled technical data.
  • U.S. citizenship is required according to the qualifications section.

Nice To Haves

  • Active security clearance.
  • Experience with Teamcenter Aerospace & Defense, EBOM/MBOM management, or configuration-management workflows in a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with MBSE methodologies such as SysML, Cameo, or Rhapsody and model-based digital thread strategy.
  • Exposure to Siemens Xcelerator products beyond Teamcenter, such as Simcenter, Capital, Polarion, or Mendix.
  • Prior experience at a Siemens Digital Industries Software reseller, systems integrator, or as an independent PLM consultant.
  • Existing relationships within the aerospace, defense, nuclear, or advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end PLM architecture for enterprise-scale Teamcenter programs across multiple client engagements.
  • Lead technical discovery, including architecture assessments, health checks, and stakeholder interviews, to diagnose current-state gaps and define future-state roadmaps.
  • Author and present solution architectures, technical proposals, and SOW scope definitions for new and existing client opportunities.
  • Serve as the highest technical escalation point on active engagements and resolve architecture-level issues that delivery teams cannot.
  • Advise clients on Teamcenter roadmap alignment, Siemens product strategy, and integration patterns with NX, Simcenter, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Lead Digital Engineering strategy engagements, including MBSE adoption, digital thread design, and model-based approaches to product development.
  • Drive pre-sales technical conversations with client engineering leadership and IT decision-makers.
  • Mentor and develop Teamcenter Architects and senior consultants on the Forge delivery team.
  • Partner with Forge leadership on practice development, service offering definition, and technical thought leadership.
  • Represent Forge Digital at client executive briefings, industry events, and partner engagements with Siemens.
  • Support or lead pre-sales technical activities, including RFP responses, SOW scoping, and level-of-effort estimation.
