Requirements

• CPA certification with an active license.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a focus on complex tax issues and client advisory services.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Extensive technical knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and their application to diverse client scenarios.
• Proven ability to manage high-level client relationships, with a consultative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for clients and the firm.

Nice To Haves

• A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of complex business, individual, and entity tax returns, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth clients, businesses, and other entities, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and expertise.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
• Oversee the review process of client work, guiding staff to ensure quality control and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to innovate, strategize, and drive the firm's growth and future success.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and stay current with changing tax laws and regulations, advising clients and the firm on their implications.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Actively participate in firm-wide initiatives, leadership meetings, and contribute to the firm's strategic vision.
