As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within the tax practice while serving as a trusted advisor to clients throughout Florida and across the country. You'll oversee complex tax planning, consulting, compliance, and advisory engagements while working closely with business owners, executives, investors, healthcare organizations, and management teams to help them achieve their strategic objectives.

Requirements

CPA, EA, or comparable professional credential
7+ years of tax experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate tax leadership
Strong tax planning and advisory experience
Experience managing sophisticated client engagements
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Lead sophisticated tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements
Develop proactive tax strategies that drive client success and profitability
Advise clients on entity structuring, ownership transitions, acquisitions, and strategic business decisions
Provide guidance regarding complex federal, state, and local tax issues
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and ownership groups
Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
Deliver exceptional client service and practical business solutions
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and service offerings
Coordinate tax, advisory, consulting, and accounting services
Serve as a year-round strategic resource for clients
Mentor and develop tax professionals across multiple levels
Review work product and provide technical guidance
Help build future managers, senior managers, and practice leaders
Support recruiting, retention, and staff development efforts
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
Participate in networking and business development initiatives
Assist with proposals, presentations, and client pursuits
Build referral relationships and identify growth opportunities
Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the practice
Support expansion within the Tampa and Florida markets
