Requirements

  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
  • Experience with individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary taxation
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to lead engagements and mentor staff
  • High ownership mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and advisory capabilities
  • Desire to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the firm

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex tax planning engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and closely held businesses
  • Develop proactive tax strategies designed to maximize client outcomes
  • Review and oversee preparation of tax returns and related engagements
  • Advise clients on federal, state, and multi-state tax matters
  • Help clients navigate business, financial, and tax-related decisions
  • Mentor, coach, and support tax professionals across the practice
  • Review technical work to ensure quality and compliance
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Assist in developing future leaders within the organization
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients
  • Participate in the transition and retention of an established client base
  • Meet regularly with new and existing clients
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and deepen relationships
  • Assist with networking, referral development, and community engagement
