Senior Tax Associate - Real Estate
About The Position
Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. This role involves interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services benefiting clients in diverse industries. The Senior Tax Associate will oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns, develop and implement tax strategies, and lead and manage a team of tax professionals. The position also focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Recent work experience with an accounting firm
- 3-5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
- Experience in Corporate, S-Corp. and/or Partnership returns
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology

- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize our company's tax position while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Coordinate workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department
