Join us at JLK Rosenberger, a dynamic growing CPA firm, and watch your career take off! We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our tax practice in our Irvine, CA office. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and possess a solid foundation in tax regulations and accounting principles. This individual should be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about tax and accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a tax or accounting role.
• CPA license or progress towards licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ASC 740, SSAP 101, Form 1120-PC, and Form 1120-L is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership and individual tax returns.
• Analyzing complex tax issues and applying your knowledge to provide solutions.
• Staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to client work to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Coordinating various phases of tax engagements, from planning through execution.
• Supervising and reviewing the work of associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the engagement supervisors, managers or partners.
