Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3–5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance in public accounting
Experience with Corporate, S-Corp, and/or Partnership returns
Recent work experience with an accounting firm
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in tax software and technology

Nice To Haves

CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure

Responsibilities

Interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services across diverse industries
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns
Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize clients' tax positions while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changes
Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions
Collaborate with fellow tax professionals by sharing expertise and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
Actively participate in project coordination and contribute to training initiatives that strengthen the tax department's overall effectiveness
