About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, high-performing individual to join our dynamic and collaborative U.S. Income Tax team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take on increased responsibility within the Company’s Corporate Tax and Finance organization while contributing across U.S. federal and state income tax reporting, financial reporting (ASC 740), and tax planning activities. The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Company’s tax filing and financial reporting requirements, including federal and state tax returns with an emphasis on multistate reporting, analysis of state tax positions, and related provision impacts. This individual will be responsible for both preparation and review activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution of key tax deliverables. This role partners cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and business teams to support tax reporting, forecasting, planning, structuring, and controversy matters. As a highly acquisitive organization, the position provides exposure to acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and restructurings, offering meaningful opportunities to apply technical skills and exercise professional judgment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or a U.S.-based multinational corporate tax environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate income tax principles, including both federal and state and local taxation and significant exposure to tax provisions related to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and One Big Beautiful Bill Act
  • Significant experience with multistate tax concepts (e.g., apportionment, nexus, state modifications, attribute usage, etc.)
  • Working knowledge or exposure to ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP and strong accounting skills
  • Exposure to US international reporting items such as GILTI/NCTI, FDDEI, foreign tax credits, etc.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or a U.S.-based multinational corporate tax environment
  • MSA/MST and/or CPA (or progress toward certification)
  • Experience with tax and financial systems such as: CorpTax or OneSource, SAP, Oracle EPM / HFM, Data and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to own and deliver complex workstreams with accuracy and accountability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-tax stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review components of the Company’s U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including supporting workpapers and documentation, with an emphasis on multistate compliance and reporting.
  • Review and validate state-specific calculations, including apportionment, state modifications, tax attribute accounting, utilization and tax return filing positions.
  • Prepare and review quarterly U.S. federal and state estimated tax payments and annual extensions.
  • Support and review the preparation of quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions, including state current and deferred taxes.
  • Analyze and interpret state and federal tax law developments, assessing impact on the Company and communicating implications to management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements including streamlining workflows, driving standardization, and optimizing the use of tax technology tools; actively support ongoing finance transformation initiatives through automation, data integration, and the application of AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Create and maintain auditable workpapers and documentation to support the Company’s financial statement and government audits as well as internal controls; Support the Tax Resolutions team response to federal and state audit inquiries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business changes and assess tax impacts, including acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical resource to junior team members and contribute to team development through coaching, review, and knowledge sharing.
  • Independently manage workstreams, prioritize competing deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
