About The Position

We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Tax Senior to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of tax experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of tax experience (corporate tax required; public accounting or in-house tax experience acceptable)
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Japanese-English bilingual required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in public accounting or tax is preferred
• Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred
• CPA or EA license is not required; however, candidates pursuing CPA/EA or with relevant coursework are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related filings
• Handle tax compliance and reporting in accordance with applicable regulations
• Support tax planning and advisory services for clients
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
