Requirements

5+ years of tax preparation and tax review experience.
Previous experience working in a Public Accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Tulsa, OK.

Nice To Haves

CPA license (preferred but not required).
Experience preparing individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and C-Corporation tax returns.
Experience with professional tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx, or similar.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other business entities.
Review tax returns prepared by junior staff prior to final partner approval.
Perform account analysis, financial statement review, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide tax planning strategies and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
Communicate directly with clients to gather financial information and resolve tax-related questions.
Research federal and state tax laws to ensure compliance and provide accurate guidance.
Manage multiple client engagements while meeting filing deadlines.
