About The Position
ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their internal accounting team. This role involves the meticulous preparation and filing of compliance-related taxes for subsidiary companies of ASRC Federal Holding Company, LLC (AFHC). The position requires monthly, quarterly, and annual filings of various taxes across all 50 states, as well as business license filings, issuance of exemption certificates and W9s, quarterly reporting, and unclaimed property filings. The role also includes researching various state and local tax matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration) or equivalent
- 5-7 years of related tax accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlook-ups, pivot tables, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Meticulous preparation and filing of compliance-related taxes for subsidiary companies of ASRC Federal Holding Company, LLC (AFHC)
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual filings of Gross Receipts, Excise, Sales & Use, and Personal Property Taxes for all 50 states.
- Filing annual state and local Business Licenses.
- Issuance of State Resale Exemption Certificates.
- Issuance of Federal form W9s.
- Quarterly reporting to Arctic Slope Regional Corporation.
- Unclaimed Property State Filing.
- Research various state and local matters.
