You will manage client engagements, navigate complex tax matters, and serve as a trusted resource both externally to clients and internally to the team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong experience with business tax (1120s and 1065s required)
  • Solid accounting knowledge and financial statement experience
  • Ability to manage client relationships independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA strongly preferred; EA considered for exceptional candidates
  • Exposure to compilations/reviews preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex business tax returns, including 1120s and 1065s
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, managing relationships and expectations
  • Provide proactive tax guidance and identify planning opportunities
  • Assist with compilations and reviews
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Handle tax notices, audits, and client inquiries
  • Support workflow management, especially during busy season
