Arcadia Financial Group•Manchester, NH
•$100,000 - $120,000

About The Position

The Senior Tax Accountant is a highly experienced tax professional responsible for preparing, reviewing, and completing individual and small-business tax returns accurately and on time. The role serves as a senior technical resource within Arcadia's tax function, applying advanced tax knowledge and independent judgment to deliver compliant, high-quality tax services. Arcadia's practice primarily serves individuals, including high-net-worth clients, and handles a smaller volume of small-business and related-entity returns. Most returns are intermediate in complexity, with a limited number of more complex matters. The Senior Tax Accountant works closely with Arcadia's Financial Planners, who own the broader advisory relationship and proactive client tax-planning process. This role provides the technical tax expertise, preparation, review, and execution support needed to ensure tax strategies are accurately reflected in client filings. It also provides guidance and technical development support to less-experienced tax professionals. The position requires substantial hands-on tax preparation and review experience, strong technical proficiency, accountability, organization, attention to detail, and client-service skills. The role manages assigned engagements from preparation through filing, supports clients with tax questions and notices, and contributes to consistent standards and continuous improvement across the tax function.
