About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
- Active CPA license required.
- Strong, up to date technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting and tax software, along with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex tax and accounting matters, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Prepare and review advanced individual and business tax returns across a variety of entity types.
- Lead tax research on complex issues and apply findings to client specific situations.
- Support advanced tax planning initiatives and provide strategic advisory guidance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, acting as a primary point of contact for complex questions and issues.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements that benefit client operations and financial outcomes.
- Communicate complex accounting and tax matters in a clear, professional, and client friendly manner.
- Review work prepared by Staff Accountants and other Senior Accountants to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen team skills and capabilities.
- Ensure the team’s adherence to firm standards, policies, and deadlines.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members to support smooth integration into the firm.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting and tax workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to developing documentation, standardized procedures, and best practices.
- Support leadership on special projects and firm‑wide initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
