Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
Nice To Haves
- CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Federal, State, and Local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and non-profit entities.
- Exhibit knowledge of the rules, regulations, and code of professional ethics of the AICPA and State Society.
- Ability to research relevant tax laws and regulations, prepare memos or documentation and draw conclusions.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the client's business and tax circumstances.
- Create year-round tax planning projections and strategies to meet client needs.
- Mentor junior staff and interns.
